Hey Dude!! How're you doing?

Oh Hey! I'm doing pretty good, my friend just dug up this old game console, it's pretty sick.

Really? Love to hear that man! Just be careful with those things, I've heard a few stories about them.

What? No way dude you're crazy.

Well, tell that to the Ghost Town Killer!

Ghost town killer..? Okay, you're definitely making stuff up.

Just hear me out. Okay? Right... Back in 2005, these two friends, Ghost Town and CRT were going through a couple of old boxes, trying to find a bit of nostalgia. The two were digging through box after box, the dingly lit basement giving just enough light to see what they were looking at. Soon enough, CRT finds something. What appears to be an old game console.
The sleeker shape of the console itself, feeling juxtaposed among the more rounder kids toys from their younger days. Despite it probably having sat in the basement for years, it was in near pristine condition. CRT brings the item out of it's box.

"Hey, What's this old thing?" CRT asked. Lifting it up and facing it towards Ghost Town. Ghost town immediately recognized it as the old game console laden in his memories.

"What the... I haven't seen this thing since I was Alive!" The Console being taken from CRT's hands into Ghost Town's.

"You think it still works?" CRT asked, his screen tilting a little, trying to gauge out the console to see if he recalled seeing anything like it.

"Hm... Let's find out?" Ghost town says, inviting CRT to join him, as the two go up the stairs with a console.

This all sounds like a load of BS dude...

Let me finish the story! Okay, So, the two head into the living room, the room itself being in stark contrast to the basement, being bright and spacious. After all, Ghost town did live in a mansion. They plug the console into the living room's television, and it lights up almost immediately.

Wait- Don't you normally need to insert a game or like, press the power button at least?

Let me finish first dude. Anyways, as soon as it lights up, CRT comments on it.

"Oh hey! Still Works!" CRT couldn't help but be a bit excited by the idea of playing an old game console with their friend.

"Hey, I still remember this game! Wanna play?" Ghost town asks, handing him a controller. CRT gladly takes it.

"You're On." He says, smiling. The two then played for hours. Getting to know eachother a bit better in the process. CRT was initally a little distant at first, but really did grow to like him. But, soon enough CRT had to leave. "Well, this was fun and all, but I gotta go. Thanks for having me!" Ghost Town smiles,

"Any time, Come back soon!" He waves CRT Good bye as they leave out the front door. "Welp, time to turn this old thing off...", Ghost Town says, with a sense of ease coming over him. It was nice getting to play games and all, but it was over as Ghost Town went and pressed the power button, nothing seemed to happen. "The hell?" He questions, the console was old and all, but not seemingly old enough for the power button to only work once? He presses it again, and again, and again. It doesn't turn off. "Blasted..." Suddenly, the TV lights up a bright green, almost blinding Ghost town in the moment, and a hauntingly ominous voice echoes through the room, only saying one thing.

... What was it?

Game. Over. Those were the last words Ghost Town heard before... well- first off, CRT was just outside, havent gotten far from the mansion, when suddenly from behind CRT, the front door slams open, with Ghost Town just standing on the other side.

"Oh, hey GT! Did you need something?" CRT says with no response. "Uh... GT?" He inquires once more. Still with no response. "Well- Uh- I'm just... gonna go. Cya!" as CRT started to walk away again, Ghost Town let's out a deafening screech, like clawing from the inside of a metal pipe. When, suddenly, without even giving CRT a moment of recovery, it chases after CRT.
CRT makes a mad dash for it, their confusion swelling as they try to process what the hell was happening, all they knew was that they had to run. So run they did, running into the nearby forest for shelter. They look behind them to see Ghost Town, having give up the chase. As he turns away, back into the mansion, CRT only had one question on their mind, Why was his face so... pixelated?

Oh... Gross.

I know right? So like, don't even bother turning on that console man.

Shut up lol. It's going to be fine. Nothing bad's gonna happe
